Getting started
What is AdonisIQ?
AdonisIQ is an AI-assisted fitness and physique coaching app. It combines your training, nutrition, recovery, body-composition, and check-in data so Adonis can give you guidance based on the bigger picture instead of a single metric.
What goals does AdonisIQ support?
You can use AdonisIQ to lose fat, build muscle, maintain, or pursue a recomp-style outcome. Your goal affects the targets, trends, and coaching signals Adonis prioritizes.
How do I set up or change my plan?
During onboarding you enter your stats and select your goal. AdonisIQ uses that information to build your initial calorie and macro targets. You can later adjust your goal and targets from the app rather than starting over.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New members receive a 14-day free trial. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your device's App Store subscription settings.
Adonis, your AI coach
What can Adonis actually do?
Adonis can review what you've logged and connect training performance, nutrition, recovery, body-composition changes, and longer-term trends. Depending on your data, that can include training targets, nutrition guidance, recovery context, trend alerts, and explanations of what appears to be driving progress.
What does “Review my day” do?
Review my day evaluates what you have logged for the current day and gives you a concise coaching readout. It can identify what is going well, what is missing, and what deserves attention next.
Today's values are treated as today's values; longer-term trends may be used as clearly separated context rather than being presented as if they happened today.
Why does Adonis sometimes say it needs more data?
Because some decisions should not be made from a single weigh-in, workout, or meal. AdonisIQ is designed to build confidence from repeated data before treating noise as a real trend.
For example, nutrition adjustments are more useful when weigh-ins, intake, waist changes, performance, and adherence have enough history to show a pattern.
What does “What Adonis remembers” mean?
It lets you review information Adonis uses as ongoing coaching context. The goal is to reduce repetitive setup and make future coaching more relevant to your goals, habits, and logged history.
The AdonisIQ Score
What is the AdonisIQ Score?
It is a daily score from 0–100 designed to summarize how consistently you are hitting the behaviors that support your current goal. Inputs can include training, nutrition, sleep, steps, weigh-ins, and other relevant daily signals.
Why doesn't my Score drop to zero first thing in the morning?
The Score is intended to represent meaningful consistency, not punish you because the day just started. Before today's inputs are available, recent behavior can provide baseline context. As you log today's data, the Score updates using the current day's actual information.
What is a green day?
A green day is a strong-consistency day in your Score history. The streak is designed to make consistency visible instead of forcing you to interpret every metric individually.
Logging, imports & history
How do I log data?
Use the app's logging controls to add check-ins, nutrition, training, measurements, progress photos, and lab information. Your histories are available from Profile › Your history for categories such as check-ins, workouts, nutrition, and labs.
What is Smart Import?
Smart Import lets you provide supported text or screenshots and have AdonisIQ interpret the information instead of requiring every value to be typed manually. Depending on the category, you can review or correct imported values before they are saved.
This is useful for things such as nutrition summaries, workout summaries, and lab results.
Do I have to complete every field in a check-in?
No. Log what you have. When useful, AdonisIQ can point out missing information so you can decide whether to complete it or continue with the data available.
Can I edit or delete something I logged?
Yes. Open the appropriate history from Profile › Your history. From there you can review prior entries and, where supported, edit details, correct dates, or remove an entry.
Can I back-date a workout or other entry?
Yes. Historical entries can be added to keep your records accurate. For training, a back-dated workout can be saved to history without incorrectly moving a current progressive-overload target forward as though the old session happened today.
Nutrition & targets
How are my calorie and macro targets set?
Your initial targets are built from your stats, goal, and estimated energy needs. Those targets provide the starting framework; your actual progress and adherence provide the feedback.
How do automatic nutrition adjustments work?
Adonis looks for a real trend rather than reacting to one day. Scale trend, waist changes, actual intake, adherence, training performance, and other context can all matter.
If intake is not consistently matching the current target, Adonis may first recommend improving adherence rather than changing the target itself. This helps avoid constantly moving the goalposts.
Why can the scale move differently from what my goal says?
Body weight is only one signal. AdonisIQ can also consider waist measurements, performance, nutrition, and recovery. For example, a relatively stable scale alongside improving strength and waist measurements can tell a different story than weight alone.
Training & progressive overload
What are Exercise Cards?
Exercise Cards summarize your recent performance for a lift. They can show recent sets, personal-record context, and Adonis's next target so you do not have to reconstruct your progression from memory.
How does Adonis generate my next progressive-overload target?
Adonis uses your recent performance and exercise history to generate a specific next-session target. Depending on the lift and rep range, that may mean adding reps, increasing load, or consolidating performance before progressing.
The explanation on the card tells you why that target was selected rather than giving you a number with no context.
Does a back-dated workout change my current target?
No. A historical workout can be added to your record without being treated as the newest live session for progression purposes. Your current target should be driven forward by your most recent applicable performance.
Where can I review or correct a workout?
Open Profile › Workout history. This is the place to review past sessions and correct workout information when needed.
Recovery, Apple Health & smart scales
How do I allow AdonisIQ and my other apps to share data through Apple Health?
Apple Health acts as the hub between compatible apps and devices. For AdonisIQ to read a metric, the source app or wearable must first be writing that metric to Apple Health, and AdonisIQ must have permission to read it.
To review AdonisIQ permissions on iPhone:
- Open the Health app.
- Tap Summary, then tap your picture or initials.
- Under Privacy, tap Apps or Devices.
- Tap AdonisIQ.
- Turn on the data categories you want AdonisIQ to read.
If the data comes from another app or wearable: open that app's Apple Health settings and make sure it is allowed to write the relevant metric to Health. Then make sure AdonisIQ is allowed to read that same metric.
What can AdonisIQ use from Apple Health?
With your permission, AdonisIQ can use supported Apple Health information to provide activity, recovery, readiness, and trend context. Current recovery features can include sleep, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen (SpO₂), and steps, when those values are available from your devices and permissions.
Sleep can also pre-fill your daily check-in while remaining editable.
Where do I see Recovery trends?
Open Progress / Trends and scroll to the Recovery section. Supported metrics are shown with your own baseline context and are hidden when your connected devices do not provide that data.
Why is a recovery metric missing?
Usually because the metric is not being written to Apple Health, AdonisIQ does not have permission to read it, or your wearable does not provide that data type. A missing metric should not prevent the rest of the supported recovery data from being useful.
How does smart-scale import work?
If a supported smart scale sends compatible body data into Apple Health, AdonisIQ can use supported imported values so you do not have to re-enter them manually.
Why are my steps low or zero early in the day?
Steps accumulate throughout the day, so early readings are naturally incomplete. AdonisIQ is designed to avoid treating that temporary low number as if you failed your step goal for the day.
Labs & biomarkers
Can I track lab results in AdonisIQ?
Yes. AdonisIQ can store supported lab and biomarker values so you can see them in Trends and keep relevant context alongside your training, nutrition, recovery, and body data.
Can Adonis read a lab screenshot?
For supported lab imports, you can provide an image or text and review the extracted values before saving. Always verify imported values against the original report.
Are AI lab insights medical advice?
No. Lab-related features are for informational and tracking purposes. AdonisIQ does not diagnose conditions or replace a qualified healthcare professional.
GLP-1 support
Does AdonisIQ support users taking a GLP-1 medication?
Yes. If you tell AdonisIQ that you use a GLP-1 medication, that context can influence general training and nutrition coaching—for example, prioritizing adequate protein and recognizing when low intake, falling performance, and poor recovery may point to insufficient fuel.
Will AdonisIQ recommend my medication dose?
No. AdonisIQ does not prescribe medications or determine medication dosing. Medication decisions should be handled with the prescribing healthcare professional.
Can I use a GLP-1 while trying to build muscle?
Adonis can account for the practical challenge of reduced appetite. Coaching may emphasize making the nutrition target easier to consume—such as meal timing, smaller meals, liquid calories where appropriate, and protecting training nutrition—rather than simply telling you to “eat more.”
Subscription & billing
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
On iPhone, subscriptions are managed through Apple. Open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, choose AdonisIQ, and use Apple's subscription controls. Cancelling stops future renewal; access generally continues through the end of the paid or trial period shown by Apple.
I subscribed but Premium isn't unlocked. What should I do?
First make sure you are using the same Apple account associated with the purchase, then use Restore Purchases where available in AdonisIQ. If access still does not restore, email adonisiqadmin@gmail.com.
Your data & privacy
Does AdonisIQ sell my personal data?
No. AdonisIQ does not sell your personal data or use your personal information for third-party advertising.
See the full Privacy Policy for details about app data, connected health information, AI processing, Android waitlist submissions, service providers, retention, and deletion.
How do I delete my account and app data?
Use the account-deletion option available in the app. If you need help with deletion or another privacy request, contact adonisiqadmin@gmail.com.
Can I remove Apple Health access?
Yes. Apple Health permissions are controlled by iOS. You can change or revoke AdonisIQ's access from your device's Health/Privacy settings at any time.
Android
Is AdonisIQ available on Android?
Not yet. Android is in development. Join the Android early-access waitlist to receive launch updates and optionally volunteer for beta testing.
How will I allow AdonisIQ and other apps to share data through Health Connect on Android?
Health Connect is Android's health-data hub. Once the Android version of AdonisIQ is available, both the app that writes a metric and AdonisIQ's permission to read that metric must be enabled.
On Android 14 and newer:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Security & privacy → Privacy controls → Health Connect.
- Under Permissions and data, tap App permissions.
- Select the app you want to manage.
- Turn on the specific data permissions you want to share.
On Android 13 and older: install/open the Health Connect app, then manage connected apps and data permissions from Health Connect.
If a metric is missing, verify that your wearable or source app is actually writing that data type into Health Connect and that AdonisIQ has permission to read it.
Will Android connect to health data?
The Android version is being designed around Health Connect for supported health and fitness data, subject to the permissions you choose to grant and the data types implemented in the final Android build.
Do you need beta testers?
Beta testing is optional, but real Android users are valuable for finding device-specific issues before a wider launch. You can volunteer on the Android waitlist page.
Troubleshooting
A screenshot or Smart Import isn't working.
First confirm that AdonisIQ has access to the image you are trying to use and that you are on the latest version of the app. Try selecting the screenshot from Photos rather than relying on clipboard paste if the clipboard flow is not working.
My Apple Health data isn't showing up.
- Confirm the metric exists in Apple Health.
- Confirm AdonisIQ has permission to read that data type.
- Open AdonisIQ again after the source app or wearable has finished syncing.
If it still does not appear, send support the specific metric and device/wearable involved.
Something still looks off.
Make sure you're on the latest AdonisIQ version, then email adonisiqadmin@gmail.com or visit the Support page. Include what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and a screenshot when helpful.
We’ll help you figure it out.
